a) Navigation data
The Website uses log files that store information collected in automated form while users visit the site. The following types of information may be collected:

  • Internet protocol (IP) address;
  • type of browser and parameters applying to the device used to connect up to the site;
  • name of the Internet service provider (ISP);
  • date and time of visit;
  • web page from which the visitor was directed (referral) and which he or she left;
  • possibly the number of clicks.

The above information is processed in automated form and collected exclusively in aggregate form in order to verify that the site is functioning correctly, and also on security grounds. This information will be processed in the legitimate interests of the Data Controller.
Data registered automatically may, for security purposes (antispam filters, firewall, virus detection) also include personal data such as Ip address, which may be used, in accordance with current data protection legislation, in order to stop attempts to damage the website or other users, or activities in any way harmful or constituting unlawful conduct. These data are never used to identify or to profile the user, but solely to protect the website and its users; this information will be used in the legitimate interests of the Data Controller.

b) Cookies
To make our website easier to use and more intuitive we use cookies: cookies are small text strings used to store certain information that may relate to the user, his or her preferences or the device he or she uses to access the Internet (computer, tablet or mobile phone) and are used mainly to adapt how the site functions to the user’s expectations, offering a more personalised navigation experience and storing choices made in the past.
A cookie contains a small set of data that are sent to the user’s browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that transferred it. It is not an executable code, nor does it transmit viruses.
Cookies do not record any personal information and data capable of identifying a user will not be stored. If you wish, you can block some or all cookies saved. If you choose to do this, however, it may prejudice the use of the site and services offered. To proceed without modifying cookie options, simply continue browsing the site.
The types of cookies used by the site are described below:

Technical cookies

There are a large number of technologies used to store information on the user’s computer, which are then gathered by the sites. Among these the best known and most widely-used are HTML cookies. These are used for browsing and to facilitate access and use of the site by the user. They are necessary for the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the Supplier to provide the service requested by the customer.
The settings to manage or remove cookies may vary depending on the Internet browser used. In any case, the user can manage or request the general disablement or deletion of cookies by changing the browser settings. This deactivation can slow down or prevent access to some parts of the site.
The use of technical cookies allows for the safe and efficient use of the site.
From the point of view of duration, a distinction can be made between temporary session cookies that are automatically deleted at the end of the browsing session and are used to identify the user, thus avoiding the need to log onto every page visited, and persistent cookies, which remain active on the user’s computer until expiry or deletion by the user.
Session cookies may be installed in order for the user to access and remain in the reserved area of the website as an authenticated user.
They are not stored permanently but only while browsing the site. They disappear when the browser is closed. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers consisting of random numbers generated by the server so as to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.
A brief description of technical cookies used on our website is given below:

Third-party cookies, assimilated to technical cookies

Cookies are distinguished, with reference to their origin, between those sent to the browser directly by the website being visited and third-party cookies sent to the computer by other websites and not that being visited.
Persistent cookies are often third-party cookies.
Our website uses third-party cookies (solely third-party cookies assimilated to technical cookies) to manage statistics. In particular, our website uses Google Analytics: this is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) that utilises cookies deposited on the User’s computer so that statistical analyses of the use of the website being visited can be carried out in aggregate form. We inform you that tools have not been introduced to reduce the identification potentiality of the cookies (by masking significant parts of the IP address) and the third party is not able to cross-reference the collected data with other information it already has at its disposal. With these cookies we supply the name of the third parties handling them, and the link to the page on which the User may receive information regarding processing and give his or her consent. A brief description of cookies of this type used on our website is given below:

Profiling cookies

Our website does not use profiling cookies.
Profiling cookies are those designed to create profiles relating to the user and are used to send advertising messages that reflect the preferences shown by him/her when browsing the Web.
When these types of cookies are used, the user must give his or her express consent.
These cases are regulated by article 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and article 122 of the Data Protection Code.

    Navigation without cookies

    In general, apart from the type of cookies used by this website, we wish to inform Users that, in addition to the protection provided by legislation currently in force, options are open to users that permit navigation without cookies, such as, for example, the following:

    ✓ Blocking third-party cookies

    Third-party cookies are not generally essential for navigation, so you can refuse them by default, by means of the functions designed for this purpose on your browser.

    ✓ Activating the option Do Not Track
    The option Do Not Track is found in most of the latest generation of browsers. Websites designed to respect this option, whenever activated, should automatically cease to collect certain navigation data. As already pointed out, however, not all websites are set to respect this option (discretional).

    ✓ Activating the "anonymous navigation" method
    With this function, you can navigate without leaving any trace of navigation data on the browser. The sites will not remember you, the pages you visit will not be memorised in the history and new cookies will be deleted.
    The anonymous navigation function does not however guarantee anonymity on the Internet, as its purpose is merely to avoid keeping navigation data in the browser, whilst your navigation data will continue, on the other hand, to remain available to website operators and connection providers.

    ✓ Eliminating cookies directly
    Specific functions are provided to achieve this in all browsers. Remember however that every time you connect to the web, new cookies are downloaded and the deletion operation should therefore be carried out on a periodic basis. When required, some browsers offer automated systems that delete cookies periodically.
